Hoth.
By the time Velkana reached Hoth, she was on the very brink of despair. Her spirit had been all but crushed by recent (and not so recent) revelations, and she felt utterly out of control. Then her shuttle touched down on this hauntingly beautiful, heart-breakingly desolate glacial planet that nonetheless felt for all the world like home — complete with an underground CEDF base where she found herself among her own people for the first time since leaving Csilla.
Hoth was exactly what she needed, a respite, at the perfect point in her journey.
And also? Aristocra Saganu: the only man in the galaxy who could tempt Velkana away from Vector. >.>
